Today we started editing our piece together. After we had put all the shots in order, the main thing we noticed was that we thought the footage was too grey and there wasn’t enough contrast. What we did was go to the video effect tab at the bottom left of the screen
- colour correction
- brightness and contrast effect and dragged it onto each clip and lowered the brightness to make it darker and increased the contrast so the difference between black and white would make the footage look more like a film noir. I am really pleased with the outcome so far as are my audience who I have shown bits to every now and again.
